This platform leverages the capabilities of the PowerG wireless intrusion technology. With solutions for a full spectrum of installations, the PowerSeries Neo system is fully customizable. At the core of the system are four control panels, ranging in capacity from 16 to 128 zones and two to eight partitions. The system offers a full range of optional cellular and/or IP communication methods and employs alarm verification solutions to reduce false alarms. <br>&#160;</p> </div>
Anti-pry Plate<div class="body"> <div class="thumbnail"> <img title="" alt="" src="http&#58;//" width="144" height="96" /> </div> <p>Securitech Group, Inc., of Mas­peth, New York, has introduced a new larger anti-pry plate for its Trident series of locks. The larger and thicker (11 gauge) stainless steel anti-pry plate eliminates the exposed bolts while strengthening the door. Four of the six bolts connect directly to the mechanism, while the other two are along the door’s edge. New entry options include thumb turn, thumb turn and handle, lever trim, lever trim with DC release, and fail-safe lever trim with DC release. Access control integration will continue to be supported in these new exterior entry options.</p> </div>
Door Control Software<div class="body"> <p>Secura Key of Chatsworth, California, has introduced SK-NET Version 5.1, which supports the new NOVA.16 16-door control panel. The control panel creates a new system architecture, reduces cabling and installation costs, and facilitates system expansion. The NOVA.16 uses RS-485 to interconnect the new smart readers, which contain all inputs and outputs to control and monitor a single door. SK-NET 5.1 also supports new features in the SK-ACPE two-door control panel, such as built-in network connectivity and battery monitoring. The software is backward-compatible with legacy control panels. The included SK LAN Installer enables users to scan the entire network and locate all connected Secura Key control panels.</p> </div>

The FaceR API makes it possible for software developers to write programs based on Animetrics’ advanced 3D facial recognition and identity management solutions technology, which is used in law enforcement agencies worldwide. The FaceR API provides the critical functions for face detection, facial features detection, and 2D to 3D pose correction, which converts an angulated facial image to a perfectly normalized frontal image. This may be used to improve matching performance in any face recognition system, facial enrollment into galleries, face recognition capability, and gallery management</p> </div>

Network Enclosure<div class="body"> <p>Middle Atlantic Products of Fairfield, New Jersey, has expanded its SNE Series Security Network Enclosure offering with seismic certification and other options. Designed to meet the specific requirements of IP, analog, and hybrid security systems, SNE is available in four configurations to fit system type, wiring needs, ventilation requirements, and cabinet location. SNE is the first seismic-certified security-purposed cabinet exceeding a 1,000-pound weight capacity when outfitted with new anchor brackets for concrete floors or seismic riser bases for raised floors. A new adapter enables threaded rail, cage nut rail, or the use of both in the same rack.</p> </div>

The release follows the launch of new Security Center plugins for partner solutions, including Software House C•CURE 9000 access control, Barco CMS video wall, Southwest MicroPoint perimeter detection devices, and DSC PowerSeries intrusion panels. This service release provides access to new software updates and feature options, with support for many of the latest edge devices on the market.</p> </div>
Server Lock<div class="body"> <p>The KS100 Server Cabinet Lock with Aperio technology extends access control to individual server cabinet doors to protect data center assets from intrusion and expensive downtime. The lock, made by HES of Phoenix, Arizona, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, enables mechanical locks to be wirelessly integrated with existing access control systems and ID badges. It extends access control from the server room entrance to individual server cabinets, while eliminating the need for keys or codes to remember. Local wireless communication with the Aperio hub adds additional monitoring and audit trail capabilities.</p> </div>
